Welcome to giantslayer., LLC, a public health consultancy dedicated to preventing trauma and violence experienced by boys and men and 2SLGBTQ+ young people. At giantslayer., we recognize that violence is not solely a gender-specific issue and that boys and men are also highly impacted. We are passionate about safeguarding the rights and well-being of vulnerable individuals and ensuring health equity for all. We offer critical insights into the unique challenges faced by males that allow us to address the often-overlooked aspects of human trafficking and other forms of individual, family, and community violence and associated sequela. We also provide trauma-informed patient/client-centered consulting, training, and other capacity-building services informed by evidence and lived-experience.
Empowered and brave public health ecosystems ethically addressing the social determinants of health and achieving social and health equity to co-create a thriving planet immune to exploitation.
We collaborate with, strengthen, and support public health stakeholders in collaborative efforts to prevent violence against males through research, convening, public mobilization, and advocacy, and by co-creating transformative learning.
We commit to transformative pursuit of anti-racism, gender equality, health equity, and non-discrimination toward all groups and individuals. We staunchly advocate for freedom and the right to self-determination inherent to all people.
We commit to transformative research, representative data collection, and the equitable redistribution of the fruits of those data. Our decisions and their outcomes will be underpinned by sound evidence.
